12 rules on the water

Every rider gets a full briefing — these are the essentials we enforce on Lake Ontario.

Emergency: call 911416-305-5187
  1. Life jackets at all times

PFDs must be worn at all times with kill-switch keys attached.

  2. Stay off shorelines

Keep 150 m away from all shorelines.

  3. Keep your distance

Stay 100 m away from all jet skis, boats, and vessels.

  4. No beaching

Do not beach the jet ski or bring it onto land.

  5. Throttle = steering

Gas must be engaged to steer — no coasting without throttle.

  6. Speed = stability

Flipping happens at low speeds — maintain steady momentum.

  7. If tipping over, let go

Do not hold on for your life — release and clear the ski.

  8. Board from the rear

If you are in the water, re-board from the rear only.

  9. After a flip, call us

Do not start the engine after a flip — call us immediately.

  10. Stay aware

Always be aware of your surroundings on the water.

  11. Idle in the marina

Only idle speed in the marina — absolutely no throttle.

  12. Stay with the guide vessel

Do not leave or return without the guide vessel.
